I am a current customer, how do I invest in an ISA or Investment Fund?

To ensure your fund choice is appropriate for your investment aims and expectation, please contact your independent financial adviser. Once you are ready to invest please call us on 0800 614 330.

BNY Mellon customers can invest in our UK-based funds directly. We accept Switch, Visa debit, Delta or Solo debit cards. (Sorry, we cannot accept credit cards.)

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept investments into our Ireland-based funds online. To ensure your fund choice is appropriate for your investment aims and expectation, please contact your independent financial adviser.

Once you are ready to invest please call us on 0800 614 330 or click here to invest online. Before investing, you should read the Prospectus and KIID for each fund in which you want to invest. See the FUNDS INFO section under the 'Prices' tab.

For ISA investors, a completed application form will be required. See FUNDS INFO section under 'Regulatory Literature' Please send your completed form to:

I am new to BNY Mellon and would like to invest, what do I do?

How do I invest in your Ireland-based funds?

For all initial investments into our Ireland-based funds please contact your independent financial adviser. Or for investors of our BNY Mellon global funds, please call: +3531 448 5036.

Switch from one fund to another

How do I switch my existing BNY Mellon funds or from funds held by another provider?

You can switch funds by calling us with your instructions or by sending them to us by post.

By phone: please call us on freephone 08085 440 000. Our Dealing Department operates Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We will then send the relevant forms for you to sign and return to us in order to complete the transaction.

By Post: please state which fund(s) you would like to switch out of and which fund(s) you wish to invest in. If you are investing in an Investment Fund the deal(s) will be placed at the next valuation point. If you are investing in an ISA the deal will be placed on the valuation point the following day.

Make a partial withdrawal

By Phone

Investment Fund investors can call our Dealing Department from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on freephone 08085 440 000 to make a withdrawal over the phone. We will then send a Form of Renunciation to be signed and returned prior to the release of funds. Please post this document to:

By Post

We can act upon your signed written instructions for Investment Fund and ISA withdrawals however you must remember to quote your account number. On receipt of your instructions, a deal will be placed at the next noon valuation point for Investment Funds and ISAs.

Within 4 working days from the date of the deal, we will send a cheque for the funds raised to your home address. Funds can be sent directly to your bank, again by cheque within 4 working days if your bank details are quoted on your correspondence. Cheques require bank clearance, normally 3 – 4 working days.

If you state on your letter your bank details and request an electronic transfer then we will transfer the money directly into your bank account. This will show as cleared funds after 15:30, 4 working days from the deal being placed. There can be a charge for this transaction and you must state on your letter you are aware of this.

For your information, the minimum partial withdrawal acceptable is £250 per fund and the minimum balance to keep your plan open is £1000 per fund (subject to change).

Add a lump sum to a monthly investment

For a non-ISA investment please call our Dealing Department on freephone 08085 440 000. We will then send the relevant forms for you to sign and return to us with a cheque in order to complete the transaction.

If you would like to add a lump sum to your ISA, you do not need to fill out a special form; just write to us and enclose a cheque. Please send your letter and cheque, made payable to BNY Mellon Fund Managers Limited, to:

Set up a regular payment

If you wish to add to an existing investment by setting up a monthly Direct Debit, please call Client Services on freephone 0800 614 330 for a Direct Debit mandate. Complete this then post it with your cheque for the initial monthly investment, made payable to BNY Mellon Fund Managers Limited, to:

How to change your personal details

Please note that the information below is relevant to investors in our UK-based funds. If you're invested in our Ireland-based funds, please consult your independent financial adviser or call us on 0800 614 330.

Change of Address

In order for us to update our records to reflect your new address, we require you to send us your signed written confirmation quoting your account number and stating both your old and new address. Please post your confirmation to:

Change of Name

In order for us to amend your name, we will require sight of the original copy of your Marriage Certificate (or, in the case of a name change after divorce a Decree Nisi or by deed poll the registration document). Please send this document quoting your account number by post to:
