Efficient Fixed
Income Beta Solutions

What is Efficient Fixed Income Beta?

Clients have been telling us that they are not getting satisfactory fixed income returns from either their passive or active managers. Efficient Beta is a way of approaching this challenge, focusing on fixed income areas where it is possible to address these inefficiencies and deliver beta in a systematic and disciplined way.

It is important to first identify the inefficiencies. Where they are material there may be a solution. The goal for most investors is usually delivering the index which typically gets you top quartile performance but also doing it in a highly liquid and cost competitive structure.

There is potential to generate alpha with comparable risk to the benchmark by harvesting structural mispricing in the Fallen Angels market.
